2017 – Etten-Leur

InnMain celebrated the 6th InnMain Annual Conference, which took place in Etten-Leur and Bergen op Zoom (The Netherlands), on the 17th – 20th May 2017. The host organization were ROC West-Brabant and Markiezaat College.

This year the main topic discussed was “Industry 4.0”. The conference was conducted by Mr. Can Baran Unal who gave a presentation about the concept and current situation, according to the following structure: What is Industry 4.0? Industry 4.0 vision; How to get there?; Educating for Industry 4.0.

Mr. Baran Unal dealt with concept challenges as: what is the roadmap, Industry 4.0 and Employment Relation, Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things, the Digital Transformation, Automatic Processes and Smart Revolution, Sensors, 3D Printing, Big Data, etc.

Finally Mr. Barn Unal gave some suggestions about how to apply these concepts to Education in Vocational Schools. Basically he insisted in taking into account that we are moving to create new job titles.

 

During the meeting there was also the following activities:

  1. InnMain strategic plan 2016 – 2020, Mission, Vision and Values
  2. Workshop: “Looking at the future”, when the partners exposed proposals and projects for the futur
  3. Corporate Social Responsibility

In the meeting of the Government Board took place the elections for the post of Secretary of the organization for the next three years: IZMIT Vocational and Technical School (Turkey) was the elected institution.

A new partner was accepted in the network: OAED (Athens. Greece).
