Welding and Mechanics International Department celebrated his first technical meeting in Kuopio (Finland). This meeting served to stablish and define the department objectives and methodology: we really think the PROJECTX methodology fits perfectly to promote students and teachers mobility.
MAIN TOPICS DISCUSSED:
- Teaching methodology for welding and mechanics subjects: exchange of experiences.
- Possibility of exchange students by means of performing a PROJECTX. The host institution can develop a PROJECTX which can fit to the Sending institution according to their necessities and obviously, taking into account the dates, the facilities, etc.
- Possibility of sending a group of students with a teacher in order to perfomr a PROJECTX.
- A PROJECTX can help the sending institution to learn from others on how to do something, how to teach a specific area, how to overcome different drawbacks…
